After the Electrification of LTT-KYN stretch,i have never observed a WAP5 burning tracks on this route.
WAP4/7,WAM's are common,but why not WAP5?

Ghat mein P5 chal sakta hain, that isn't a problem. however, P5's are allotted only to GZB/BRC. However, WAP5 will struggle with 24 coacher in Ghats, but the main showstopper is that it isn't alloted to BSL/AQ/KYN sheds.

Once I've spotted GZB WAP5 hauling LTT-ASR at ET, which means WAP5 had come @ IGP. This was before ACfication days...
WAP-5 can't haul lengthy rakes on a ghat. Only minor ghat n grads, it does slow down for a while but later picks up pace.
That's why alternative version, WAP-7 was designed which can haul lengthy rake in any ghats n gradients effortlessly n KYN, AQ are homing them.
BSL POH's them when needed.

WAP-5 wont come to LTT, It will become a duck on the mighty ghats... :P
