Have registered following complaint with railmadad "PNR 2619543944 Our train 22692 NZM-SBC Rajdhani getting heavily delayed & moving at snail's pace. Now already 4 hours late before Kazipet. Please try to maintain punctuality of trains apart from introducing new Vande Bharat trains"
Vande Bharath is the new flavour of the season and quite welcome at that. But in the proccess has IR neglected the SLEEPER CLASS so abjectly that it is now the NEW GENERATION UR with the 3AC taking the place of SL ?
Until say about 5 years ago, I was an inveterate traveller in the SL class, but after my pitiful experiences in 12863/64 HWH-YPR-HWH Express trains I was reluctantly compelled to shift gears to 3AC. Now with 3AC gradually going the way of SL, what with WL/UR pax occupying space between the doors and blocking access to the toilets, I have recently started patronising 2A. For how long, God alone knows.

One of the steps urgently required is to stop this indiscriminate issue of WL tickets up to WL400 or 500 etc. If these are PRS tickets then WL pax freely board the SL or even 3A coaches and make travel horrible for confirmed passengers

That we will never get to know. And as you say it is probably a randomly generated list. But without going into the ranking or whether there are other stations dirtier than these 8, I think we may accept that these are not models of cleanliness. So IR would do well to improve them instead of bothering too much about Why ? How ? When ? etc
