Gokul_Bas~ 1836 blog postsIt's high time to change the timings of 11014 since it is starting late almost everyday from CBE. The turn around time is very less at CBE. Instead of 8:55, it must made to leave at a new slot from CBE. There is no time for secondary maintanence after run of 1500 Kms.

I agree. I have been uisng 11013 and 11014 quite regularly since inception. In the earlier days 11013 would always be before time at CBE . Of late it is inavriably late by many hours regularly. As somebody pointed out the real problem is between DMM and SBC, Unless this stretch is double lined this problem cannot be solved. Since it is one of the trains from LTT to SBC passengers to SBC would not like this to be diverted without touching SBC, but that is the best solution. It can be diverted via KJM to Salem so that the elctrified double line in that sector can speed up the train. Recently I used a chain for returning namely, LTT-CLT by duronto and CLT-CBE by Intercity. The journey was very very comfortable. The total time taken was only 22 hours 10 minutes

kvenkatarayan 232 blog postsi Have been a regular traveler of 11013 and 1104 between TNA and CBE. I notice that of late the train runs consistently late by 3 hours or more. Earlier 11013 used to arrive at CBE always on time or before, even when the scheduled arrival was 0630. Now after slowing it down also it is always late by a long duration. The run between Hindupur and KSR Bengaluru is always the culprit. 11013 is forced to stop at all stations between these two to allow the trains from the opposite direction. SWR should consider this and make it such that there is no delay for 11013.

Now with Karnataka elections are over, when will the Coimbatore-KSR Bengaluru Double Decker will start? Anybody has the latest on this
I notice that for 11013/1104 the lower berth quota for AC 2 tier has been reduced from 4 to 3. The Budget proposal was to increase it by 50%. Can anybody clarify the reason
The live update information given in Railways website is not accurate. Today I went see off my relative at Coimbatore by 12677. The train arrived at Coimbatore Junction at 1323 and left at 1333, but the railway site gives as 1310 and 1323 respectively. We can accept a couple of minutes mistake but 10 minutes is a pretty big error with the present technology. We have to be careful with this information
