Why too much extreme slack in this train between hajipur to patna?? Almost 2 hrs 25 min taken to cover the distance of only 33 km with average speed of 13 km/hr. Why people use this train while simply by road a person reached patna within half an hour and save 2 hrs....

SWR denied to run via ghats and SR has agreed for the long route benefitting the stations enroute hence goes via Coimbatore, Kasaragod.
All trains Manguluru via Shoranur are primarily to serve Coimbatore Khozikode Kannur which give max occupancy and Manguluru is only a terminal for end to end traveller. This train serves Manguluru public to Tirupati as good overnight in both directions. SWR should give one slot in Hassan Shiradi Ghat section so that SCR and SR operate a Biweekly train sharing the slot.
It is serving North Kerala and it is dumped at MAQ. except for KPD and SA other main places are at untime at TN. do proper research before commenting.
Yes. SWR should give slots for other destinations as well from Mangaluru side. As far as this train is concerned hardly it is having any bookings to mangaluru. Yes for tirupati it could be beneficial but still i wonder if there is any bookings till MAQ. SR should consider developing KGQ/CAN as a terminal with primary maintenance facilities and avoid dumping all the trains all the way to MAQ
Yeah Deepak ji, although we have long route the E-E, passengers for CBE , PGT and SRR too got an alternate connection from HYD apart from Kongu (until CBE) and Sabari. Ideally one slot via Hassan has to be given. Ideally this train was proposed via HAS now all we can do is to hope for. Unless we have some strong intervention from any MP's turning this into reality is little difficult.
last 10 days se 12368 DDU RT aati hai.. aur fir ARA se PNBE ke bich delay ho jati hai. agar PNBE RT aayi to aage PNC ya BKP tak me 2hr tak delay ho jati hai. mid night me aisi kya problem ho Jaa rahi hai route me daily.. koi kaam chal raha hai kya track par?

Rajesh~ 2348 blog postsWhy IR is running special trains with too much delays. Now a days most of the special trains are running with minimum delay of 12hrs. But this train is creating record by running late by 37hrs
04227 LTT BSB sustained its 2.5 hrs delay from start till the end and reached BSB 2.5hrs late only.
Had tracked many summer special trains, but found this one to be most punctual.
