arishabh1819~ 1048 blog postsमाननीय श्री रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव जी से अनुरोध की शाहगंज जंक्शन की बाईपास लाइन बनाई जाए, जिससे ट्रेनों को शाहगंज जंक्शन पर लोको रिवर्सल न करना पड़े, जिससे काफी समय की बचत होगी। Khanja Halt से Bilwai तक एक बाईपास लाइन बन जाने से ट्रेनों को काफी राहत मिलेगी। शाहगंज जंक्शन पर ज्यादातर गाड़ियां मऊ/आज़मगढ़ से लखनऊ की तरफ जाती हैं, जिसके कारण शाहगंज में लोको रिवर्सल करना पड़ता है, चूंकि शाहगंज जंक्शन पर प्लेटफार्म की संख्या कम होने के कारण अन्य ट्रेनों को आउटर पर रोक दिया जाता है। जिसके कारण ट्रेन लेट भी हो जाती है।
अतः Khanja Halt से Bilwai तक एक बाईपास लाइन बनाने का कष्ट करें। आप लोगों की क्या राय हैं, जरूर बताएं।

एक बायपास पहले से ही प्रस्तावित है जिसका अंतिम स्थान सर्वेक्षण होने वाला है।
जी, कार्य समाप्त होने के बाद शाहगंज पर कुल 6 प्लेटफार्म(शायद एक और टर्मिनेटिंग प्लेटफार्म) हो जायेंगे

Of Dashboards I can only share that of VB and Shatabdi trains operated in Eastern Region. PRIMES doesn't hold any long term data of other train types for reasons known only to CRIS. Max. occupancy of other trains record in archive is of 3-4 days which I guess is also available in IRCTC Charts.
Hmm, with around 60/63% APJL means diversity of intermediate travellers were more. Can also be understood while observing the segmentation.
I am most impressed by how well ASN-DGR have managed to hold up inspite of having so many dedicated Volvo services to KOAA.
Volvos serve a particular niche segment of travellers. In terms of comfort and travel time, trains always have edge over buses in similar classes in this belt.

Savordem to Kalem is fully double electric line.
From Kalem no works but from Kulem doubling works have started. Yeah the route passes through forests but still I would say it's much easier compared to Majorda Vasco coz no houses nearby so people protesting issue will not be there. If necessary forest clearances are obtained the work can be completed in 6 to 9 months. It's hardly 7 to 8 kms.

Mostly they will merge the double line from Cansaulim side to Majorda on the same single exisiting line coming from VSG and same line will be used as it is used right now. Moreover Madgaon to Majorda section uses automatic signalling to ease up congestion coming from KR and SWR. I don't think just because VSG is doubling they will lay another line because there won't be speed up there as a major halt is given to every train at Madgaon so every train slows down from Majorda Jn.
Yep all sections are electrified now just the commissioning but still no use if small sections are electrified because Vasco to Kulem can be given electric run but they won't waste resources until whole stretch from VSG to Tinai Ghat electrified. From Kulem to Kalem it is doable not much interference but Railways should check with Forest Dept. for the clearance asap and if double line creates hurdle for wild animals speed restrictions can be imposed to balance things out.
Atleast now SWR should stop crying and start running some more trains to VSG. This will create some confidence among Goans about SWR.

Yes 🙌 all trains can be resumed and to begin with VSG Karwar can be resumed within 1 week if they want because 16595 Panchaganga Express from Bengaluru to Karwar comes as Kawar (8:30) to Madgaon (9:45) special train in morning and returns back from Madgaon (16:30) to Karwar (17:45) . So this can be extended easily removing slack of 15 mins from Madgaon and adding 40-50 mins to reach Vasco from Madgaon and vice-versa.
