is New Kosi Mega Rail Bridge
As can be seen here the wasn't Kosi even in 1943 or after so question of any Bridge destruction due to massive Earthquake of 15th January 1934.
In fact the rail service between #Darbhanga & #Saharsa was very much running even after 1942 then due to massive flood and course change by Kosi one Raharia (रहडीया) station between #Nirmali-Bhapatiahi (Saraigarh) washed away and lost forever because present day Kosi stayed there.

future.The I R might come up with a plan for construction of a spacious shunting yard near the Munger railway station. The vacant land lying beside the railway station would be used for the purpose. The planning of railways surfaced during the visit of Eastern Railway's chief operation manager SS Gahlaut here on Saturday to visit the newly-operative part of Munger railway station and construction work of a 4km long by-lane railway track connecting Mahallah Daulatpur and Ashikpur, which falls under the Jamalpur railway station,The deadline for construction was June but it would now take at least another three weeks." "After completion of link tracks, the railway commissioner (safety) will inspect the tracks and only after which the railway board would divert some long distance trains from Bhagalpur towards Munger.
