Platform no. 1 is rarely used ; mainly for loco traction change.
like- Malda Town - Surat Express reaches DGR at Pt no. 1 with Diesel link from Siuri and gets ASN WAM-4..... reverses and departs towards Asansol.
Same with the case for Chennai Central - New Tinsukia Express
The military train coming/going to North-East stop at Platform no. 1

Politicking even in the working and functioning of #Escalators.......

उत्तर बिहार की राजधानी मुजफ़्फरपुर के रेलवे जंक्शन पर यह स्वचालित सीढियाँ लगाकर एक एहसान किया गया है यहाँ की आम जनता पर। बस अब एक और बड़ा एहसान कर दे रेल प्रशासन कि इसे नियमित और सुचारू रूप से चालु रखे।
15 मई 2014 को हुए उदघाटन के पश्चात आप में से कितनो ने इसे सुचारू रूप से चलते हुए देखा है।
