In Indian Railway ,Emergency quota have been misused by the politician and railway staffs through Travel Agencies several years.CBI now conducts through checkup.

This emergency Quota originally introduced for the purpose of higher officials to attend emergency meetings etc.Nowadays road transport tremendously improved over Railways and mostly used by the officials for point to point connectivity . More than 8 hours travel they may utilized Airways.Moreover more and more trains are introduced.So emergency Quota quantity should be drastically reduced so as genuine ordinary passenger get comfortable accommodation.
