Charbagh has ennough space for 6 more platforms, why they content only with 2. They could have added 6 new platforms & then one by one they should have started lengthening of remining platforms.
Agreed, it shouldn't be used the way ECR used PPTA...i.e. as a terminating/originating pt. for trains.
NR has clearly mis-utilised the land at Charbagh. NR Lucknow Division needs to learn from NER Lucknow in terms of every thing.

Untill the Goods Yard is shifted from Charbagh to either Alamnagar or Transport Nagar, more than 2 or 3 platforms is not practical
