Izzat pass Rs 25 for 150 km for 30days. So 150×30=4500km. Then moeny paid per km is 2500/4500= 0.5 paise. Apologies for writing this line but even if one begs for a living he just needs Re1 per day for his travelling expenses. Yatri ki izzat bachate bachate Railways ki loot rahi hai.
For general MST, Rs 525 for 150km it means 52500/9000= 5.5paise per km. As normal monthly passes are two way so 150×2×30=9000km.

IZZAT scheme was launched to help very poor people and the actual implementation shows negligible IZZAT passes issued in a poor state having
per capita income in dollars per annum in 2014 of
(1) India- 1627 Dollars/yr-189000 passes issued i.e. 1 pass every 6350 people
(2) Karnataka- 1853 Dollars/yr-Much Higher than national average- 72016 passes issued i.e 1 pass every 85
...
people
(3) Chhatisgarh-1281 Dollars/yr-Much lower than national avg and only 2/3rd of Karnataka.- only 206 passes issued i.e. just 1 pass every 1,24,000 people.
Above fact shows the faulty implementation of IZZAT pass and a strong possibility of a scam involving the issue of almost free passes. It is hard to imagine that any one earning just 1500 Rs per month shall need a 150km daily travel pass!
