Today it is really good news as the tunnel (constructed at extremely high cost ) which otherwise is not fully utilised shall be put to use, but once Jammu-Srinagar-Baramulla project is commissioned, several long distance Superfast trains including the premium ones shall run through the tunnel and the use of tunnel by road vehicles shall spell a big trouble for NR. Before the project is completed, alternative arrangement for road vehicles should be made.
