Isse sahibganj loop se Assam side Jane ka short route milega, Katihar aur malda jane ka alternate route bhi mil jayega aur floods ke time Mansi Katihar route kosi ki maar se behal rahta hai, uss route ki assam side jaane wali trains ko bina jyada distance badhaye bheja jaa Sakta hai.
