Some quota's were probably available. Also it is most common that short distance travel for a long distance train gets easily confirm.
Not a single quota was available. I have checked. Don't know who's behind this work.
Around 2 years back I was travelling from Puri to Bhusaval(Shirdi Express) I had waiting list around 20+ till 30 minutes before charting. Suddenly it got confirmed with side upper seat. During that journey hardly 10-15 passengers were only there in all sleeper coach and in chart all side lower berths, middle berth were blank and some coach was entire empty with no chart even pasted. Strange journey it was.
