Yes ..That’s advantage of it ..

I used to prefer SL, bu nowadays changed to SU, that too 3A /2A only, I avoid traveling in SL coach
Ohh ..SU is the seat ..when you want to talk to friends ,,Sleep well..
But as I am alone traveller ..Lower berth for Railfanning would have been good

Only issue in UB / SUB is during summer while traveling in SL coach
