That's how RAC allotment takes place in Garib Rath's having Side Middle Berths.
RAC Passengers are only entitled to share a berth. I am afraid that sleeping is a leisure they cannot manage to cherish.
It is 2 berths between 3 people. Seat number 11 is not assigned any ticket. So 10 and 11 berth no between 3 people. First hand experience. Anyway got the cnf berths from TTE, by the time we reached Surat.
Yes, the MB is left vacant. But again, it isn't possible someone to sleep at MB and for the rest 2 passengers to sit on the LB at the same time.
