Hi,
Whenever I visit Bangalore City Junction(SBC) station I feel IR(SWR?) is trying to maintain the old charm of MG ages which is present at PF 4,5 & 6(Earlier may be 1,2 & 3). Added with between PF 4 and 5 there is around 3-4 or May be 5 Lines to park the train which came In and or may depart in an hour.
Doubt which I'm having is If Same was at MG ages too, then Where was the Entry given to Station? And If it was given...

at the place where it is now, Then passenger were supposed to cross these lines and move to PF 5(Now). If not then PF 4 is New one.
Yesterday Udyan Express Bound to Mumbai was delayed and when I left station around 8.30PM it was not even brought to PF. Usually it departs from PF 1 and yesterday It departed from PF 5. The announcement for PF change was made at 7.45PM. and Passengers were running without caring for trains which was coming In. By this started thinking how it was on Olden Days.
Any Members/Admins/Guest have Idea, then please do share.

Yesterday had been to South Bangalore City Junction(SBC), What i've seen will try to make out.
1.Udyan departed from PF 1 with KJM WDP4B
2.Ernakulam-Bangalore Intercity arrived on PF2 with badly maintained Coaches, All coaches had Green colored Advertisement(Feels Real "Garib"rath)
3.Island Express with WAP4 of Erode was at PF 3

from patna arrived to PF4 with ERODE WAP4 more of the time it gets WDP4/4B of KJM from MAS
5.CMNR-TPTY was at PF 5 with RPM WAP1( Very next to loco 2 sleeper's were attached called S7 and S8 respectively, display Board was SBC-TPTY not CMNR-TPTY)
6.Hampi Express Bound to HUBLI was at PF 7 with KJM WDP4B
8.NZM Raj departed from PF 8,immediately Rani CHANNAMMA was placed into PF 8 wit h KJM WDP4
9. UBL-SBC Passenger arrived to PF 9 with KJM WDM2, within few PF 9 was cleared for KANNUR Bound 16517
10.16517 arrived/allowed to PF 9, 1 3AC and 1 SL was attached as Extra Coaches very next to LOCO
11.After Rani Chennamma Departure MYS-AJMER express was allowed to Enter PF 8
12. HUBLI-SBC Jan Shatabdi entered PF 9 after departure of 16517 with KJM WDM3(14***)
Need clarification : CMNR-TPTY gets any additional coach at SBC? if So from when it is getting additional coaches.?

Short Summary of my trip to Mysore..
The pic is of Yeshvanthpur Ernakulam Special with Itarsi WAM4
I reached early at yeshvanthpur at around 8.50 am and bought ticket and entered.. Garib Rath was stationed... It was secundrabad yeshvanthpur Garib Rath.. 16 coaches. seating/Sleeping 1-78..
Next a special train which was launched today i.e. Yeshvanthpur- Ernakulam Special came to platform.. There were not...

so many people for that train. It left around 9.15 am with Itarsi WAM4.
Next the Prestigious tourist train of Karnataka The Golden Chariot was welcomed to platform no 6 with huge applause by people who were waiting for Howrah Duronto i suppose.. Man it was damn awesome train... No words to describe it..
Then announcement was made for 16536 Gol Gumbaz express from Solapur to Yeshvanthpur.. As usual it came in with WDP4B monster beast..
My train left at 10.15 am 5 mins late from Ypr and reached bangalore city bang on time at 10.25... The beast really roars a lot...
Then it was passing by all stations stopping for 1 or 2 mins... Then it came to halt at Maddur..
Here it was announced that it would stop in Maddur for 20 -25 mins for crossing.. On the other side another WDP4 monster led Tippu express which was bound to mysore came and halted.. There were vendors trying to sell everything from groundnut to rice bath
Then most awaited moment came.. My favourite train 12007 Shatabdi Express again led by Monster beast WDP4 came honking madly and crossed maddur with speed around 65 i guess...
Then Tippu express left and soon our train also left.... Soon it started to enter Mysore and stopped outside for about 15-20 mins for crossing of Rajya Rani Express and clearance..
It entered pf 3 at 1.55 pm late by 10 mins..
The mysore Bangalore passenger was standing on pf 2 and Shatabdi with roaring WDP4 and generator car at pf1..
The saddest moment was to see Shatabdi express with broken window panes except coach c1,c2 and E1...
