Till the time we dont get EMU trains like mumbai and hyderabad its all useless raising voices. With no automatic signalling , platforms with less height , replacing conventional coaches with MEMU , is no way a suburban railway. New sets of MEMU being purchased by state govt is an eye wash before elections. What happened to land on Binny mills. Railways never constructed any yard on it and they never connected platforms 1 to 5 in B'lore City towards Yeshwanthpur line. Bangaloreans is being fooled by state govt on the name of suburban railway.
These MEMUs are being procured by state govt. Only Bengaluru and Hyderabad suburban services are being paid by state govt. Cities like Chennai and Mumbai get all funds and rakes from centre. For Bengaluru, nothing from Center.
This money was handed over months ago, but only now MEMUs are being sent to SWR by center and tom-toming it for election sake.
