Station Pf allocation information.
There are total 4 platforms at BE and additional 2 Pf which were earlier MG Pf (adjoining to Pf 4) are being in conversion process, so that longer-bigger BG trains could be allocated there.
Pf 1: All the Shahjahanpur/Lucknow side going trains come on this Pf only. There is no other Pf for this side train. So if some saturation occurs, then trains has to wait at BE outer stations (majority case with special train) till Pf 1 gets vacant.

Some chandausi bound train originate from PF 3 . For eg BE-DLI-UNA express.
Sometimes they start from Pf 3 and sometimes from 4 whichever is vacant at that moment.

Suri~ 7923 blog postsBareilly/Shahjahanpur Travellers, If you have to travel from Mumbai to your home and you are unable to get confirm ticket in this train between BDTS-BE stretch , then Book ticket for BDTS to LKU.
BDTS to LKU (LKU & KGM) is under GNWL which have maximum seats quota under its belt whereas the Bareilly is under PQWL.
So book BDTS to LKU (Pay Just Rs 30 more) and alight the train at Bareilly Jn.

IRCTC Restaurant will open shortly in front of Ticket building behind PF#1..
