They (HQ, SWR) say lines are saturated in and around SBC/YPR and no new train can be started than how come this train has been started?
The train time table is wrong. Dep time at Ernakulam is 23.15 on Monday. Arrival at Yeshwantpur is at 12 noon on Tuesday. Please update this.
der must be some mistake in posting it...cos even last time this train was made to run...it used to leave ers at 00:20

Yes, it is waste of whole day. Nobody will want to travel on a monday morning by wasting a working day. Also in the return direction, it reaches YPR at 12.00 noon, again losing a working day. I am sure this train will run near empty all the time.
Why are the authorities not incorporating passenger's demand while declaring trains? If they have any concerns about passenger's worries, they would have declared this train to run on weekends.
I feel they just want to show that though they are running special...

Sir, there are people who do night shifts, non working class people , elders, or people who get leave easily.
Railways cannot always runs trains more so specials in accordance with working class passengers....afterall they might be a minority when it comes to train passnegers frm all forms of life.

OK, i understand that IR can not run trains according to the demands of one class of passengers alone. But weekend train doesnt mean that all the passengers are of working class, right? All the class of passengers that you had mentioned can travel in that, right?
Already there is a day time train between SBC and ERS, which runs half-empty most of the time. Also, the authorities could have checked on which day of the week the Waiting list for the regular trains runs long and declared this train on that day

yes exctly even before few days same train was intro as spl...it almost ran empty...
when i am trying to book tickets for this train for 14th, i am getting the message 'BOOKINGs are NOT ALLOWED at this TIME'.Does anyone know why? Didnt reservation start for this train yet?
