I took a ride from Egmore to Secunderabad on the Charminar Express in 3A class on April 21st, 2022, and did some serious railfanning at Egmore, Secunderabad, and along the way. Ready for Part 1? Let's talk about my time at Egmore. Pics 1 to 3 show the entrance of the station. In Pics 4 & 5, Chennai Egmore - Kollam Express board from Platform 2. Missed capturing the loco as it was leaving by then. Pics 6 to 13 are all about the Chennai Egmore - Puducherry Auroville Express at Platform 1, hooked up with an AJJ WAP-4. Now, in Pics 14 & 15, catch the Chennai Egmore - Kanyakumari SF Express leaving from Platform 4 with a WAP-7 (noticed its shed 'cause it was running late). Two normal coaches taken out from the SSS Hubballi - Rameswaram Weekly Special train without telling anyone. Now only got 2 normal coaches left, one in the front for 07355 and one in the back for 07356. Check out pic on Railmadad.

Kyun kisi ko nahi smjh aata ke SR apni trains ko dusre zones ko kyun deti rehti hai? Ek dedicated train khadi nahi kar sakti MS se CAPE ke liye khud ke rake ke sath chalane ke liye? Yeh to passenger ko hi nuksan hoga agar Island Exp late ho gayi. - SR ko kya fayeda hoga agar PC aur MS-CAPE ke rakes delink kiye jaaye? Zone ka functioning dekh ke thak jaata hai. Unhone CAPE mein pitline bhi nahi banaya aur NCJ ko decongest karne ka bhi dhyan nahi diya.
