It means Farakka will not be cancelled in winter for two days due to extra rake provided.Malda people's were so much frustrated that it will be cancelled in winter as it's gone to Balurghat from one side and another to Punjab.
That winter time cancellation thing completely depends on the respective zones and RB but the late arrival of one rake now is not going to affect the timely departure of other rakes from Balurghat untill and unless the arriving rake is delayed by more than 24hrs.

Extra rake given by RB to NFR zone to reduce the delay and give ontime departure and in winter to reduce the rescheduling time from balurghat as in current TT it is not possible to run this crawler as it gets delayed in most of the zones due to less priority in its route.

LHBfied1307172SUPEREXPRES~ 269 blog postsAs now 13413/14 and 13483/84 transferred to NFR from ER, I think and request to ER authorities to use it's previous rakes to introduce new services to southern states as Chennai, Vizag, Trivendrum as well as Bhopal, Raipur and any other which is not connected by trains with Malda, Bhagalpur route.

A train can be introduced between Malda and Bhopal/Indore through Bhagalpur, to give connectivity between these places.
All rakes transferred to NFR. Pitline is empty now where it was kept previously
