This is w.r.t AC DD btw MAS and SBC RSA and that's why increased to daily run...👍👍
Yes agree with you. As it's in RSA with Chennai Benguluru DD the number of ACC cannot be reduced as the occupancy is good and even the new GS and increased train capacity of 330 seats is running full.
Only for those who don't do online booking but take GS ticket from platform can not benefit from this.

Regarding DVG, I've always seen that as a halt and not as a terminating/originating stn.... and that I felt that it should go till UBL but as u said, it would only work out with SL....

Both your imagination trains are via CBE PGT PLNI to RMM. Too long and unwanted diversion.
If you treat RMM SBC as a pilgrimage oriented one, it should cover Palani, Madurai and Rameshwaram at convenient timings. Also, it should suit public from SA ED CBE.
If you treat RMM SBC as just a SF, then thrice a week via TPJ SA HSRA/ KJM and thrice a week via MDU SA HSRA/ KJM can be considered.

Hmm... I'll try to modify those trains.... My intention is to have a train directly from SBC to PLNI and also have PLNI as pilgrimage destination...👍

As per latest reports this is highly unlikely to happen as the time of this train if extended from CBE to PGT coincides with maintenance block timings which is undertaken by PGT division. Saw a report which mentioned that Engg division has raised concerns. Post the Balasore derailment incident of last year, all divisions/zones are being instructed to give topmost priority to these maintenance blocks as and when they are taken. But at the same time there was a different report that mentioned that this probably will be considered once pit line & other stabling facilities are ready in PGTN.

Travelled in CBE - SBC UDAY day before yesterday. Going by the cosmetic looks, UDAY is far better than DD, either exterior or interior. Seats are the same in both, uncomfortable.

Difference is very minute in both DD and Uday but Double decker is best.
Uday is just a copy of DD with some facilities.

What is the difference between Uday and DD? Only vinyl wrap?? Coz I don't think seats are comfortable in both trains

First and foremost discussions are going on whether the Uday and VB routes should be swapped... as in Uday runs on the Hosur line and VB runs on the TPT line... and before that, they're giving a halt at TPT... interesting... 🤔🤔

I feel the same. They are changing timing for VB to leave at 07:25 AM - In that case it can reach Tirupattur at 10:35 , Bangarpet at 11:30 and BNC at 12:35 PM (it will save 1 hr 20 minutes for VB) and will be a high speed train.
Uday can go via Dharma and Hosur to SBC.

Also adding to ur point, we might see WC SF Express having a slight change in the TT from CBE to MAS to avoid getting overtaken by VB... if WC departs before VB then WC will be affected... so I recommend having a small change in the TT for WC to depart 10mins after VB...👍👍
