The only Jan Shatabdi running inside Tamilnadu. It connects Mayiladuthurai (in Mainline) with Coimbatore Via Tiruchirappalli (Pilgrimage line Kumbakonam - Thanjavur - Tiruchirappalli). Journey compilation from Temple city Kumbakonam to Tiruchirappalli. Jan Shatabdi blasting throughout the section with top priority and one of the fastest connection from Delta to Trichy and Coimbatore. WAP4 locomotive honking and ripping speed takes us to heaven. Do watch and enjoy the journey fully. Hope you all like this compilation.

Yes traveling in this train the entire journey can be interesting as we can see the delta regions of cauvery but how many of you know that this train takes a circular route to trichy from coimbatore through erode whereas the straight route is only by bus which passes through palladam, kangeyam, vellakovil, karur, kulithalai, etc to reach trichy. I have nostalgia for this bus route similar to as I have for MAS - Varanasi rail route. In 1980s when we were frequently traveling for Trichy we used to catch Thiruvalluvar (now SETC) bus bound for Thanjavur at around 7:30 in Gandhipuram bus stand and it took almost 5 hours to reach Trichy but now a guy has put video recently which shows the travel time is 4:15 hours ! Yo, traveling on this train for the whole ride can be hella interesting, man. You get to peep the sick delta regions of Cauvery. But check this, not many peeps know that this train takes a roundabout route to Trichy from Coimbatore through Erode. The straight route is only for the bus riders, bro. They go through Palladam, Kangeyam, Vellakovil, Karur, Kulithalai, and all that jazz just to reach Trichy. I gotta say, I got some nostalgia for that bus route, just like how I feel about the MAS-Varanasi rail route. Back in the 80s, when we were always heading to Trichy, we would hop on the Thiruvalluvar (now SETC) bus bound for Thanjavur around 7:30 at Gandhipuram bus stand. It used to take like 5 hours to get to Trichy, but now this dude uploaded a video showing it only takes 4 hours and 15 minutes, man! Buses bound for Trichy and Madurai now start from Singanallur bus stand. Word on the street is they're planning to build an integrated bus station at Vellalore, but who knows if that's for real. Back in the day, all the buses started from Gandhipuram, then they split up and now they're running from Ukkadam, Mettupalayam Road, Singanallur, and Gandhipuram. Oh, and BTW, Trichy is getting a new bus station at Panjapur on the Trichy-Madurai highway. The main bus station near Trichy junction is gonna be moved there. They recently renovated the other major bus station, the Chatram bus stand. I heard that PMK is demanding that this train gets extended to Chidambaram, saying it would help out Coimbatore students studying at Annamalai University. Yo, the Coimbatore-Trichy highway is a major road, man, just like the Coimbatore-Salem/Kochi highway, and accidents happen there quite a bit. Along this route, each place is known for a specific industry or job. Sulur is a suburb of Coimbatore, all hip and happening. Palladam is famous for textile stuff, Kangeyam is known for cows and agriculture, Vellakoil is all about agriculture, Karur is a big town, like Namakkal and Tirupur, with textiles, lorry building, and other industries, man. And Kulithalai is all about that agriculture life.
