This all happens after every accident just to put blame on others and save RM. Now uu will see CBI willcome into picture and the whole picture will turn towards fault of loco pilots. We have seen this in Coromondel exp accident also last year. Save RM as he is educated, he can deal with private players and Sell IR in future.
No one will point out that the locopilot of the goods train was working overloaded , 3 night duties he had done and very less time to rest. When it was time for rest, locopilot was forced for another duty on the day of accident and accident happened. Lots of vacant post in IR, but government is not

This is just the cheapest form of politics. Politicians and administration running away from their responsibilities instead of fixing shortcomings. The whole automatic signalling was not working , due to which paper based signalling was followed. Complications in this manual system led to the accident. The loco pilot cannot be blamed for this right? Not even one news channel talking about the signalling failure because they are sellouts to the BJP tbh, no offense. This damages the image of the esteemed RM. They want to take credit for achievements but simply don't want to work on shortcomings. Irrespective of your politics and affiliation, just that these things which involve passenger safety shouldn't be toyed around like this.

derailment may happen due to many different reasons but for collisions, it is more of human mistakes.

Whats wrong in this 40 km stretch between rangapani mayanaguri that two big fatal railway accidents happened in last two years.HCPV somehow have saved many lives but still death toll is 15+.Railway should look towards the safety of passengers and took this matter seriously looks like signalling problem they should improve the signalling system and prioritise LHB conversion they are running summer special with LHB coaches but old train like kanchenjunga still in ICF if LHB it would have ran no death or very less could be (excluding LP/ALPs of goods train).

is a very high chance that they get overburdened, or get tired. Quality matters more then quantity. And LPs always work in day, night even on holidays, festivals as well. They have to face many problems,(which might not be explained easily).

And always remember, IR has to show someone responsible so, they have to suspend some employee , whether they are liable or not in many cases.

Piyush Goyal was RM when, there was Covid,(talking about 2020) a natural advantage. Otherwise the condition was same, percentage gone from 0.6 to 0.5 only this is improved, otherwise Don't forget the Amritsar train disaster and when Hundry Express was rammed at Kacheguda.

And RM Ashwini Vaishnav name should be changed VB Minister. Only focus VB and AB trains.

It's unfair to criticize Ashwini Vaishnaw for this one accident, but in general, he has been below par. All fancy stuff but overall deterioration of even basic services. He isn't the right person for IR even not considering this accident. Also should be seen whether LP was overworked or the signal was obscured by something rather than just blame the dead LP, which is the easiest getaway here.

According to form T/A 912 no train should be given /issued clearance untill the block section between two stations is cleared by the prior train.After confirmation only the next train should be allowed.So maybe controllers/SM to save detention had instructed to go more than the restricted speed as the speed is definitely not near 25/30 kmph.A incident of similar nature was seen in Southern railways where T/A 602 was followed by relief loco and the officers pressured to run the loco at 50 kmph instead 15 kmph.When Loco pilot refused he was given chargesheet which was later taken back after backlash.

Lps don't take steps on there own in most cases.They know that what implications are there for not following speed restrictions.It is mostly from the officers who force them to do so for saving detentions and show good punctuality results in the zonal railways and at the board.Incident of Southern railways has been attached in reply below where LP was given chargesheet even when he followed all rules just because he disregarded his seniors instructions to break the rule.

There was a time after the Seemachal exp accident when railway was able to control the fatal accidents. Almost for 3 years, no fatal train accident took place. But things became worse after Ashwini Vaishnav took charge as RM. 5 major accidents in just 2 years -

Why does India need a RM? Waise Bhi Vande Bharat Inaugurations ke liye toh Modiji hain hi! Other things can be managed by the bureaucrats who reach top mosts by corruptions and bribes, they can manage everything else... I think it should become a Ministry directly under the PM (like many other ministries/departments)... waste of public money... Aren't we supposed to have a "Minimum Govt, Maximum Governance" model? Ashwini Vaishnav can continue to be a Rajya Sabha MP from Odisha as long as he wants...
