Propelling From Coonoor
To depart from Coonoor station platform Udagamandalam (Ooty) bound services have to draw forward to clear the station area and then set back to access the single track to Wellington and beyond. With an appropriate burst of exhaust, YDM-4 6481 propels Train 666, the 07:45 Coonoor to Ooty service past the signal box. The station platform conopy can be seen to the left of the signal box.
