Booking for tomorrow's 22500 Varanasi - Deoghar VB looks good too.

Varanasi Deoghar Varanasi vande Bharat Is giving decent booking, atleast better than what I expected.
This will gradually increase as it is just a week old.
Today was completely sold after charting in CC while few were left in EC
Tomorrows 22500 is also left with only 20 seats in CC, which is still available for booking while the return 499 is left with

Buddhpurnima extension is not beneficial for nawada also as this train is taking 8 hrs. to reach patna and by road we can easily reach patna in 3 hrs.

Its very good initiative from Government but it can be more better if it is till #Rampurhat# connected two more pilgrims Tarapith & Basukinath and also generated good revenue.... While no Rampurhat has still direct train to banaras
Also it is good replacement of #13133# sealdah-varanasi upper india express.. I can't understand why government didn't think like that how to reach benefits more and more people????

See here are the bare facts!
1. This route is in no way suited to a VB. But it was still introduced.
2. Extension to ASN was intentionally made difficult by running it upto DGHR station! A Run upto JSME would have been just fine.
3. Running via the KG line was a recipe for this disaster, it should always have been run

via PNBE. Firstly this train shouldn't have been allowed to run at all.
4. Trying to extend to ASN to shift the blame of DGHR's incapability to fill the VB would be a fruitless exercise ! What do you take in the people of ASN to be stupid or what ? Who will intentionally take a convoluted, longer and much slower route to go to BSB ?
5. The pilgrimage and devotee bases for BSB and DGHR are radically different.
Truthfully, there is no demand for a VB in this sector.
6. If a HWH-BSB VB is run, it will have to be run via the GC, and that with an extremely aggressive schedule to able to return of a single day. Running via the KG or main line will not facilitate that!
7. If an ASN extension is on the cards, then it should be run via PNBE. That way some passengers from ASN will actually prefer it. Else run from JSME via DHN route, that way some patronage can be salvaged at the very list. The KG line is not fit for running a VB, and quite frankly neither is DGHR!

Mene sirf itna bolna tha asansol to jayegi nhi kyuki specially deoghar bound train h or howrah jati h toh same day return muskil ...is liye as simple rampurhat ke liye bola tha vb ke liye 1.5 ghante ka distance h or rampurhat or dumka bhi banaras se jud jayega jha ab toh train alag se milne se rahi
Or itna toh definitely bol skta hu ki dumk and rph generated good patronage kuch toh jaan aayegi or seat fulfil hogi or afterall dumka is vice capital of jharkhand.... That's it

We firmly believe that a Vande Bharat train service between Varanasi and Rampurhat via Deoghar-Dumka is essential, rather than the Varanasi-Deoghar route, especially following the cancellation of the 13133 Sealdah-Varanasi Upper India Express.
There has been no connectivity between Rampurhat and Upper India, especially following the cancellation of the Sealdah Upper India train, making our demand fully justified.

You have been reiterating that KG line not fit for VB neither Deoghar deserves one.
These kind of judicature is justified before the introduction of the train itself, now since the train has been introduced for whatever reasons be to x, y or z...it can not be abruptly taken back, rather an effort can be made to increase the footfall by extension which is always a viable option and has happened to some of VBs as well.

concern why would people of ASN would take longer route or slower route to BSB/Gaya.
If it starts from ASN it would probably be around 14:00 and at this time hardly a few trains are there for gaya or BSB. Most premium trains on GC line is in the evening. Definately there would be few travellers.
Even ASN-GAYA memu is running since a long time and takes about 8hrs do you believe it runs completely empty. It serves many intermediate passengers.

Similarly If ASN gives even 80-90 passengers for JSME, Kiul, NWD combined it's enough to make this a hit.
Look it's not about shifting blame it's just about enlarging the area it caters to, the way BGP HWH VB has been given infinite no of irrelevant halts.
NWD has lot of travellers to HWH and 13024 is not the first choice. If this is extended to ASN this can become 1st choice to thousands like NWD-ASN then take any train going eastward.

By the way ASN is not the only option for extension, the kind of political backing this train has I won't be surprised if it gets extended to HWH, but as discussed ASN is more viable option among RPH in the east and PRYJ in the west.
