I couldn't take pics as I was not carrying my camera.... I just went to drop my friend and saw that LHB rake was being shunted.... So I went to check which train it was...
May be it it the rake of YPR - SVDK Premium Exp

If IR doesn't know, then how come specials, time table, is designed n allocated. :-)
IR plans it n then releases it after consultations from the mother zone.

I am sure the way festival trains are being introduced... these are adhoc decisions. Else wasnt it a good idea to announce all the specials at once...
Thus the rake may be arranged on ad hoc basis...

Before letting out a rake, they check out the roster timings, with the CDO n finally go ahead.
If a certain RAKE is lying too idle, then its pushed for specials.

When my friend is trying to book the ticket, meals option is not available for this train. while same thing tried on 02696 or 02692 from Pune to Ypr, we have an option of selecting meal (veg/non-veg). what kind of logic SWR/IR has applied on this, don't know :-s

Nah, RAC is being given in premium trains from the start itself. Its just that if you book an RAC ticket, it stays RAC till charting. It may clear on board.

It varies from train to train. Some trains have RAC to their full capacity. Some trains use only some of the SL berths for RAC. Maximum RAC allocation can be found in GNWL quota. PQWL doesnt have RAC while RLWL has RAC in most of the trains (allocation is very less compared to GNWL)
