The WAM-4 class has been phased out from mainline service long ago but technically, they still exist ! The WAG-5 class was born out of the WAM-4 class by changing the gear ratio & most of the remaining configurations were the same.

Sabroom, one of the frontier stations of IR under NF Railway's jurisdiction (Lumding Division) located near the Feni river which serves as a natural border between India & Bangladesh. At present, the station regularly witnesses four DEMU services to & from Agartala & no mail/express. Therefore, a loco hauled train is a rare sight at Sabroom. This scenario occurs only during inspections, emergency operations & departmental traffic. Here is a frame from one of those exceptional days.

In frame: The Aishbagh bound 15320 Sanctuary Express completing its scheduled stoppage at Lucknow City with Izzatnagar (IZN) YDM 4 # 6435 at its helm.
Its very sad that by 2029 LS elections, I may not be around anymore in this world. My illness is slowly turning deadlier. Fell badly during bathing today, expecting fracture at right leg. About my illness, its NMD, no coordination & co-operation between my Body muscles & my Central Nervous System. This leads to paralytic panic attacks(like Epilepsy) & loss of balance leading to injuries due to falling down(like ALS). 😥😥ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Nope, telling about what happened today. I am already suffering from ALS type rare non curable disease NMD. Expected lifetime for people with this disease is 30 yrs. But I am already 32 & now having problems doing my regular works. So by LS election 2029, my age will be 37 yrs & I may not reach there. 😥😥 Lou Gehrig's disease click here
