Indian Railways have decided to allow the access, not latter than 01.08.2013, to Originating Station Quota when Boarding station is other that the Journey Start Station, while booking of ticket. Please refer to this blog: /blog/post/795435. For referring original document issued by IR see attached file.
This new policy guidelines may become operative earlier also, if IRCTC could implement the policy guidelines earlier.

friends please suggest wether following idea(trick) works or not
One of my frined is in MARWAR JUNCTION NW and he want me to book a ticket in 16613 rajkot-coimbuture exp
but seats are not availble from ahmedabad junction n hence i need to book from surendarnagar/rajkot and den change the boarding point to ahmedabad !!
