**** CLW HAVE STOPPED PRODUCING HITACHI TRACTION MOTOR , SMOOTHING REACTOR & INDUCTIVE SHUNT OF CONVENTIONAL LOCOMOTIVES FINALLY *****
We all know that CLW has already stopped Producing Conventional Locomotives already in the Last Year.
Now they have permanently stopped producing parts of conventional Locomotives also.
Now
...
they produce only the Following Traction Motors of 3-Phase Locomotives ONLY:

1 3-PHASE TRACTION MOTOR TYPE 6FRA 6068 (For WAP-7 & WAG-9 Locomotives) TARGET FOR 2016-17 : 1500
2 3-PHASE TRACTION MOTOR TYPE 6FXA 7059 (For WAP-5 Locomotives) TARGET FOR 2016-17 : 120
It is also to be noted that for Both Traction Motors Production id "NIL" in April 2016 i.e in the Last Month.

(Screenshot Attached)
It is seen that as WAG-9 & WAP-7 are now very Popular so demand for their Traction Motors is also increased.
First Time such Huge Production Target(i.e 1500) given by Railway Board to CLW for FY 2016-17 which is First in the History of CLW too.
So, we can easily say that WAP-7 & WAG-9 is much more demanding in Indian Railways than WAP-5
For WAP-5 Railway Board has given ony 120 Traction Motor order for FY 2016-17
So the Difference is huge 1380 Traction Motors ordered extra to CLW for WAP-7 & WAG-9 as compared to WAP-5 in FY 2016-17 by Railway Board

What is " Rheostatic braking" of Conventional Locomotives of IR ?
Ans: A system of dynamic braking in which direct-current drive motors are used as generators and convert the kinetic energy of the motor rotor and connected load to electrical energy, which in turn is dissipated as heat in a braking rheostat connected to the armature.
In other words a method of

electric braking in which an electric motor operates as a generator. The kinetic energy of the motor rotor and connected load is dissipated in a starting rheostat or a special braking rheostat, and a braking torque is produced on the shaft of the machine. Rheostatic braking is usually used for the light braking or complete stoppage of a transport vehicle or moving mechanical system of comparatively small mass, where the amount of energy released in the braking is comparatively small.

6,000 hp
WAP-5(NOW)
Gear Ratio 67:35:17 (3-stage gears)
59:35:19 for loco 30086
Power Output : Max:6,000 hp (4,474 kW)
Continuous:5,440 hp (4,057 kW)
WAG-9(NOW)
Gear Ratio 77:15 / 64:18 / 107:21
Power output 6,350 hp (4,735 kW)
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------------
WAP-7 Enhancement ( I think)
Gear Ratio: 80 : 18
Power Output: Maximum: 6,500 hp
Continuous: 6,150 hp
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------
WAP-5 Enhancement (I think)
Gear Ratio : 60:35: 18 (3 Stage gear)
Power Output : Max:6,300 hp
Continuous:5,500 hp
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------
WAG-9 Enhancement(I think)
Gear Ratio: 80:15/64:18/109:20
Power output 6,500 hp
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- --------------------
Kindly comment IN DETAIL FROM EVERY ASPECT what Impact will be created on the "Performance of the Three Locomotives" regarding the above mentioned enhancements I think for the Three Three-Phase Locomotives of Indian Railway.(WAP-5/WAP-7/WAG-9)
Also comment on the scope if WAP-7 can be made 3-Stage Gear like WAP-5
For existing records please refer the following:

I am not an engineer. These are the Figures I think from my Imagination to make all the three Locomotives more speedy but don't know whether the proposed figures will serve the purpose or not. Please share views .
