With Jhusi- Prayagraj Rambagh doubling about to be completed within 5 days and all the media houses reporting that the whole Banaras Prayagraj route will be declared 130kmph fit, I'm excited for NER's first 130kmph section.
Can anyone clarify that are only VBs are going to run at 130 or trains like Shivganga, BUI/BSBS-NDLS, lichchhavi Express, etc are also going to run at 130?

Ohh only 10 mins will be saved, normal SF are going to reap more benefits then
How are you expecting a 20kmph upgrade in MPS to reduce the travel time by more than half an hour in a 120km stretch. Even if we factor in the increased MPS on the new Ganga Bridge, at most only 10 minutes would be saved for the VB trio.
If they decide to get done with the undue slack in case of Shivganga and other non premium trains, that would help much more than the speed upgrade. I think this needs to be done in the new timetable, otherwise 130kmph would remain...

I'm not expecting, I was just sharing my wishful thinking and just went a little overboard with that.
But with the new bridge being 130kmph capable and increase of speed limits between the bridge and main station, they can certainly save 15 or more mins, until and unless they decide to play safe and keep it as zonal slack.

But the question is how many of exiting Shatabdi Exp have got VB rakes? Don't feel like they will provide VB sl rakes for Rajdhani Express...at least in the starting phase.

Just pray that they should not rename the Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains into Vande Bharat
Let's see what happens. I am also expecting the same as you considering the history of IR. Expectations are that these are going to be a completely new class of trains, just like the chair car VB. I am also expecting a new name for the sleeper VB class.
