Is regulation ki zarurat bhi hai. Kuch zyada hi SF trains ho gayi hain aajkal. 55 kmph is too slow to be called a SF in this day and age.
Agar M/E mei convert kr diya toh fir priority hi nhi milegi trains ko aur fir delay bhaot jyada hoga trains mei
1.Train no of 12801/02 Purushottam Superfast Express will be changed to 18401/18402 W.E.F 01.07.24
2.Train no. of 12892/91 PURI - BGY will be changed to 18404/18403 W.E.F 01.07.24.

Railway ministry ab Tughlak chalata hai.. So anything can happen. Aaj purushottam toh kal Tamilnadu, Telangana, Coromandel , Geetanjali pe bhi Aisa news aa jaega..
Instead of making such benchmark why don't IR try to make this train more faster and then set on their benchmark(I know this is next to impossible, this is fastest train on its route)
Aram se 65 kmph pe jaa sakti hai Purushottam. Useless halts need to be removed. Abhi hi 60 se upar hai. Nandan Kanan, Odisha Sampark Kranti and Purushottam can retain SF tag even if the SF category goes to 65 kmph, abit speed up and schedule adjustment is the necessity.
Focus of any minister is to get appreciation for their work. If it is short term succes then it is their best chance to do so. So current RM is focused on launching VBs and doesn't bother other things. He might approve to degrade 12801for their purposes. There won't be any response even if we raise this question.
I think in 1970s, there is a train mentioned as Neelambari Express. I think neelachal express is only neelambari express of that time.
To be specific the confirmed ticket seat will not change. After charting also it will remain same, but at the time of charting, they will try to provide the same seat at same cabin or atleast at same coach, because it is the 1st RAC and atleast that much of vacancy can be available.
