Kumar R~ 137 blog posts12250 NDLS HWH Yuva Express at Dhanbad Jn, running 2 hours late, hauled by WAP 4 of Howrah. I was fortunate enough to get a reservation in the 2A coach (temporarily augmented for summer). As you can see, the 2A is an ancient coach, leftover from a Rajdhani rake with dual windows in each coupe. However it was clean and well -maintained...strongly recommend due to its good speed and convenient timing + limited halts...as good as Duronto.

Yes... Sealdah Rajdhani Express was introduced by then RM Ms. Banerjee in 2000 as Sealdah Division has been her favorite ER Div to cater to the South Calcutta Parliamentary Constituency. People of Asansol and Durgapur also got a Rajdhani Train via Dhanbad - Gaya to travel up to the National Capital as Howrah Rajdhani (Both via Gaya and Patna) skipped these stations. The Sealdah - New Delhi Duronto Express was the second reputed AC Train to start from Sealdah, becoming the 1st Duru Train of India ;-)

12329 & 12379 has sleeper and general coaches. and start from SDAH
I agree with you but this is a connection from Sealdah to Old Delhi (DLI). IR should now start a Superfast LHB Train with General, Sleeper and AC Coaches with Pantry Car between Sealdah and New Delhi (NDLS) on a Tri-Weekly Basis with stoppages as Burdwan, Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow NR, Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad (For NCR People)..... :-D
whether a train terminates at NDLS, DLI, ANVT or NZM. i dont think it affects travellers.
But they say that New Delhi (NDLS) ki baat hi kuch aur hain... Shaan-e-Rajdhani Station for any train's terminal or pass through stoppage ;-)
