Extra coaches are used to clear some part(approx 22) of CKWL and rest around 44-50 for General waiting list[as per my observation in ER
it looks like HWH/SDAH charting is clearing CKWLs too while adding extra coaches, else the circular of IR clearly mention priority for GNWL while adding extra coaches
If you follow the trend in recent Times many ck wl pnr's have confirmed similarly.. Given many predictors a jolt in their stats...
and almost all of them are of trains originating from HWH/SDAH,
