I thought this MS-ED is extended upto CBE then to MAQ without the combination of TPJ-MAQ exp

Your are partially correct sir, MS-ED was extended to CBE, MAQ-PGT IC was extended to TPJ. By cancelling MAQ-TPJ the CBE train was extended to MAQ, the schedule departure of both the trains at CBE were in the difference of 10 minutes, when both were running

So, MAQ-PGT-CBE lost one ICE with 2S seating and got SL seating with higher fare at same speed.

But now slowly because of its RSA with cholan the MAQ express is having 5 2S coaches and it is even Waitlisted for night travel b/w TPJ-MS. Currently this train is having 23 coaches, and on weekends with additional coach augmented at TPJ its a 24 coach train.
