wo to kahin bhi lootate hi hain customer ko. delhi ho ya bangalore ya chennai ya mumbai. prepaid auto wale kaise lootate hain wo samajh nahi aya mujhe.
I am not exactly sure but one possible way could be,asking an additional pay out on top of the prepaid rates.I say that because i have not taken a prepaid auto @ Chennai Central for a long time so i am not exactly sure if that happens down there but i am pretty sure is that the autowalas @ Central are highly reluctant to take a pax to Egmore for a throwaway price.They want some additional add ons along with the actual fare but there is one incident that happened to me when i was in Kolkata last year.I was going from Howrah to Esplanade and i got myself a prepaid taxi,everything was fine but as i was getting down @ Esplanade,the taxi driver asked me if i was willing to pay something extra.......so,may be that's one thing that could happen.He was pretty vocal in his demands not aggressive or assertive...

this is why prepaid is different then regular auto wala. prepaid auto booth have rules and regulations and is run by govt. those who agree to it they only run their auto as prepaid others just wait for such customers who fall in trap. in prepaid you pay at the booth and take receipt and give it to auto wala in the end. auto wala can then encash the receipt in lieu of money. he is not supposed to ask anything more then that but then its individual's wish to pay little extra or not. and moreover, if any prepaid auto wala deny to go to any destination then he can not remain at same place for next customer. he has to go back in the end of the queue and wait for his turn. customers will anyways come and take any other auto. this is why people prefer prepaid auto...
