great, people are willing to travel unreserved, and not reserved. But doesnt add up. If there is rush in unreserved compartments what would motivate people not to take rthe advantage of reservation?????? Bad timing??? that makes no sense... According to you the unreserved coaches are full so schedule doesnt seem much of an issue. Its either that people dont have the purchacing power for reservation tickets or there is just not that mucch rush to mandate an express and as such a passenger cud be employed. Food for thought.....but sounds like wonderful opportunity for ticketless travel.
Wrong analysis based on perception.
Fact is There are only 2 General Coaches and 11 SL coaches(big number). It is not right that crowd in GN coaches are not buying tickets.

Coaches of mahalaxmi and siddheshwar exp. are utilised.11 sl, 3 gen and 2 ac composition for 6 hr day journey.The train has attracted lot of passengers from state bus service.According to local kolhapur state bus depo, they are loosing about rs. 40, 000 per day due to this train.Imagine there is only one train now from kop at this moment.
The special train kop-hyd (07144)will comprise of one AC 2 Tier, one AC 3 Tier, three Sleeper Class, three General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to 10.The train is extended till 2 june.This train is not suitable fot kop-mrj paseengers .still with less no. of compartmentes train is running and showing enough occupency.
If the train uses mahalakshmi/siddheshwar rake, why id does not have 1 and 2 AC? Are these bogies removed from rake for this journey? Or are they just closed for the journey? About sleeper class, i think CR should use the sleeper class coaches as 2 seating coaches as used in mandovi express. In Mandovi express, sleeper class seats are reserved as 2 seating for day journey. That will be more useful and cheaper.
