Pendurty(PDT) needs to be developed as Satellite Station & should be made Terminus Station for trains going towards BBS,HWH,R,ADI, JP,LTT,NDLS etc.
Advantages :
I)It is on the Anandapuram - Anakapalli State Highway is which is being now converted into 4/6 lane National Highway.
ii)This station has 7 Platforms and plenty of VACANT RAILWAY land available on either sides.

Answer given ECoR --- While thanking you for bringing matter to the notice of Railway Administration, it is to inform you that Pendurti station is classified as E category as per the earnings of the stations. Computerized Ticketing System is already provided and 11 (eleven) pairs of trains were stopping at this station. Seven platforms are provided to facilitate the movement of trains conveniently. The request for making the station as terminus is not feasible since it is en-route. The stoppage of super fast/express trains can be recommended subject to the ticket sales as per the policy guidelines. Developmental works such as waiting halls, additional drinking water taps and platform sheds will be planned in future works program.
