Collage to reflect Both sides of Chattarhat in One Frame.

Chattarhat is one of those location just outside NJP to Kishanganj where all the trains generally attain MPS. It is located around 17kms from NJP and a safe bet for MPS of any train (except passenger trains which stop at this station) .

Ya Really surprising to me.

Most possibly this route may have been single line and was doubled later.
But still why the changeover like alignment on both sides? Even there was single line, this wouldn't have been required at normal scenarios.
Sir ur pic clearly explains all. At the curves, if we eliminate right part track for njp side beyond Level crossing, and left part for kishanganj at the L-curve, then it would be easy to understand. Earlier only one track was straight, which is the left part of kishanganj side and right part of njp side. The track towards platform later joined the other track..
