I just found out that PT is Premium Tatkal Quota. So, if this remains unutilised, it would be released to the usual Tatkal Quota.
Please let me know when this PT Quota is released (before train departure) - if any part of PT is left unutilised - to the other quotas (and if it's first released to Tatkal Quota and then only to the other quotas).
PT is released to CK first and this is done during chart preparation. Have you booked in PT after canceling this?
No, sir. I didn't want such a tension-ridden situation (of having had to wait until the last few hours before the train's departure, i.e., until chart preparation) to know what my fate would be! So, I promptly cancelled this particular Tatkal e-ticket. I'm now exploring various 'chains' (combination of trains) from Hyderabad/Secunderabad to Raipur (via Nagpur). And there seem to be quite some chains indeed for this route (Hyderabad/Secunderabad - Nagpur - Raipur). Thanks, once again, sir, for your kind concern and advice. Warm regards.
