on a single ticket , can 2 people board from 2 different stations, is it possible , one ticket ( 2 people) for one boarding point is SC and for other boarding point is NGP till LJN ?

It should be fine..Tell the TTE that your father shall join at NGP due to some last change in plan couldn't come to SC board the train.
If Single ticket does not allow Two persons to board train from different stations, better Two persons board from Single Station ....
