Abhishek 27 blog postsBooked 3 tickets in 1st AC in 12302 New Delhi Howrah Rajdhani (via Gaya). While booking through IRCTC website, 1st AC quota was available. After successful payment, I got 3 seats confirmed but with no berth or cabin or coach number. As far I know, while booking in confirmed quota, I should be getting the berth number and coach number whenever I booked tickets in 2AC or 3AC. Pls help me on this.

The Preference Will Be Given To You As A Cabin Because You Have 3 Passengers Booked Under One PNR,But It Also Depends On Availabilty As I Said Earlier.
For 1AC the berth allotment will be done after charting...Since you are three pax under one PNR have pretty good chances of getting a Cabin. The Allotment of Cabin/Coupe VIPs are given preference then it comes to Gen Public so such procedure of allotment of berths are charting.
Thank you everyone for the information and helping me out of this confusion. One more help that I needed that is in 1st AC, what special service(if any) given other than the catering?
Privacy & comfort and to add hospitality is major aspect in 1AC..
