Dear friends, my office colleague Ayush along with his wife is traveling to Goa this August. I have suggested them to visit Dudhsagar water fall. But, there is no direct train & road will probably remain close due to heavy monsoon. There is no other option except going to Castle rock & then return by train. On the way, they will witness the beauty.....what do you people suggest? Is that trip (if tracking) safe for women? Any corresponding experience by any member? Please share.

Best day to go to Dudhsagar is on sunday . I go every year there since 4 years. I take Amaravathi Express from Madgaon and get down at Dudhsagar station and walk towards Dudhsagar waterfalls which is 1 km away and spend 2 hours there and trek back to Dudhsagar station and catch Poorna Express which runs only on Sundays.
Both the trains stop their for break check at DDS? (Unofficially).....sure? On all days? or tourists made them stop.....?
Bhai, I would suggest not to go on a weekend. You will be trying to find your way through the chaotic crowd rather than enjoying the beauty
