New Time table related query .
The new time table will be effective from October-1. As of now if one checks the time for trains with October-1 journey date will the change in timings be seen ?
Will railways only upload the change in timings in the site from October -1 ???

Even after electrification, doubling etc, speeds of trains are not showing any signs of change. One classic example is degrading train no-11097. Now running at avg speed of 38km/hr [end to end]. Running time increased by 4 hours. Even slower than a passenger train but express fares being charged !!!
I guess SR is interested more in punctuality than faster trains. That is why they are giving the slack there by slowing down. If you look the running of kerala express, 3hr late at BZA, by the time train enters Kerala, it will be on time. LPs will be just operating the train as per MPS of track on normal day as well as on late running days. But still it will make up the time due to slack. In one side, we can say train is running on time, in other side we can say, train could have reached faster.
Yes, and they will say the reason as operating constrains due to which we have to allot this TT.
not alone this ''kalka mail'' hwh to del used to be near 23 hrs ., now 25 + inspite wap-7 ., and tracks which will soon allow ''talgo'' ., thus need is real time plans and not depending on m.p.'s / m.l.a.'s for increasing the stops ., while every station has importance then why not have plans for such trains ., make few trains which stops in smaller station i.e. faster ones say 50 kmph avr-speed which stops after every 5-6...

You are correct. There are examples of so many prestigious trains which had less stops. Now with every passing year stoppages keep on increasing due to political pressure [Gitanjali, coromandel etc & many other examples].running time undergoes minor changes.
