Dear sir, the fundamental of WL/RAC to confirmation are all depend on possibilities that how much total seats are available. More the total seats are available more chance for confirmation. Here are only 5 seats are fallen in general quota and you are WL 8, that means at least 7 people before you (excluding RACs). So if you have to get confirmation after all the 7 guys cancellation within 5 seats that means your chance was 5/7=.71%. But here AE1 to provide more 46 seats means your possibilities are now 7 times bigger than previous, irrespective of system inclusion of AE1. If you need more clarification see a entry no. 1921170. This was RAC 3, 4 & WL 1 within total seats of 18 over 100 days. If not given AE 1 this PNR may not be confirmed.
