The existing Antyodaya Express running between LTT and TATANAGAR skips major stops in Maharashtra viz Nashik Road(NK), Jalgaon Jn(JL), Akola Jn(AK), Badnera Jn(BD), Wardha(WR) etc. Shouldn't it should get these halts as well bcoz all the above cities are big cities of MH and can give much patronage to the train ?

Skipping Nagpur and halting ballarshah is that makes any sense
Nope, not at all !! Indian Railways are quite unpredictable ?!
Just increasing halts wouldn't help in increasing the patronage. E2E passengers make a train hit or flop, extension to some other station like Gaya or DHN could serve the purpose, adding to that more no. Of halts in route.
Make it a weekly train. And extend it to North-East via Howrah.
