Since when Rajdhani takes 3 days 2 nights to reach Howrah? and also look at the timings as they need correction.. as per the time table the intermediary stations namely Kolkata Santragachhi, Ramratala and Tikiapara are crossed by Rajdhani at 0955, 0956 and 0959hrs respectively and reaches Howrah at 0955 hrs!!! please amend these..

sir...for ur info....belur route is not a "shorter route"...but its the only route from hwh to dhn via dgp,asn...these are in the er route(hwh ndls main trunk line)...tikiapara,santragachi is the ser route via kgp...which is the hwh mumbai/chnnai main line...a completely diffrent route
Sir, though Liluah Dankuni is the shorter route for trains using the Howrah- Burdwan Chord, but there is another line, which would be used by ER trains ddeparting from Shalimar, and SER trains departing from Sealdah. The ACC Link Line connects Santragachi Jn. and Andul (of SER) with Dankuni Jn. and Rajchandrapur (of ER). SER trains from Sealdah (to be introduced Sealdah- Puri Duronto) would take the line from Rajchandrapur to Andul Jn., and ER trains from Shalimar (to be introduced Shalimar- Patna Duronto) would take the line from Santragachi Jn. to Dankuni Jn..
oh...maybe dats a new line....to my knowledge there is presently no train which takes dis route..in fact dis is d first tym im hearin abt dis route..
Thank you for the amendments. I did encounter similar problems in DBRT Rajdhani also and has been adequately corrected. Thank you once again.
