I know that KA is first state to start maximum state share. It is 80:20 in case of suburban and in the similar way for profit sharing, that state is also providing land is good thing. Binny mills shed is going to start in phase 2 after mys-sbc doubling and electrification completion. In phase 1 banaswadi shed is going to come up, this is reason why whitefield and swarna pass are trying to convert into Memu. You say it as goons pelted stones, i thought it's a political stunt, somebody will say it as passenger discomfort. Ultimately all citizen's and environment have to pay if suburban got delayed again and again.
You may be true with regards to Development, but there are things that local govt have control over, that is purely individual choice of govt how to frame rules policies. Here in Pune or any other city in MH there is rule to have proper distance between the building that is policy, in Bangalore very less sometime I wonder how those plan have passed. There is proper ratio of construction area with respect to total area but in Bangalore not sure if there are any rule , In layouts too same condition. So policies are either not good or they are not followed. In Pune or any other city any path hole if opened marked so that it's not crossed over. In Bangalore I saw nalas instead of drainage some are covered some are not. Believe me in Pune there is always processes/ policies are followed irrespective of change in govt...

Good these are additional thing which is you highlighted. Builders are so easy go in Bengaluru that they build many homes and societies over raj kalave(canal), these canal's were from ancient Raj era, but eventually got disappeared how the city has grown with no strict policies in place and corrupt govt every-time. Same thing happened w.r.t the road building distance which you mentioned, which is another reason why we see delay in implementation of suburban project by almost a decade, if govt is strong why goons will come and pelt stones to the national property which is from our tax
I hope people realize this soon and change initiates in Bangalore.
