Hello all, I am a foreigner from UK on holiday in February. I am travelling Margaon to Hampi with my family of 4 (2 daughters) and we have a short trip to Goa. I have booked my tickets to Hampi 1 month before travel, the Booking Status on my reservation is showing WL/15-18, the Current Status on my reservation is WL/9-12. What is the likely chance my PNR status will be confirmed? And what is an RAC status and how will I know if I have this? Will this show online? Sorry but I am new to the India system, travelled on Indian railways 20 years ago, but thought it was really memorable so would like my daughters to experience this train journey. In RAC you will get 1 berth which has to be shared by 2 passengers. Yes, you will be notified by railways about the status of ticket on chart preparation which is 4 hours prior to departure.
