The train is running more than 2.5 hrs late currently. I need to reach BRC max by 12 pm and it does not seem that the train will make up much time before reaching Bharuch. If the train becomes delayed by more than 3 hrs at any station and I cancel the ticket and file TDR with reason train running more than 3 hrs late, will I get the full refund. How does railway determine the delay of train? Does it consider the actual delay of train at boarding point station or if train has been running late for more than 3 hrs at any point or enroute station before boarding point station?
if Expected arrival 3 hrs at boarding stn then full refund.
if 2 hr 59 mins late then no refund
if 2 hr 59 mins late then no refund
How Do I get the maximum refund now? If I file TDR now, I will only get 50% refund. And it seems the train may not be more than 3 hrs delayed at Bharuch as it has some slack time before Surat where it will make up some lost time, so waiting to file TDR for train delayed by more than 3 hrs may also not give result. Also I have changed my boarding point from Surat to Bharuch, For purpose of filing TDR, timings at which station will be considered?
